At Rāroa, we provide plenty of opportunities for students to learn a new language, enriching their communication skills and expanding their cultural horizons.

Te Reo/Mandarin

Te Reo is embedded within the daily programme at Rāroa.

At the beginning of the year, all new students are offered a taster class in Mandarin. They are then given the option of continuing with Mandarin in a weekly lesson during class time.

Whakareinga / Enrichments

There are also other classes on offer as part of the Whakareinga/enrichment programme. Whakareinga runs in term 2 and term 3 on Thursday afternoons. Languages on offer include French, German, Spanish & Arabic.
